CVASC was established in 1976 by Ginger Brassfield, Amnie Ewing and Denise Creelman. We have been an active club hosting mutiple events every year since. We have hosted 2 National Specialties, in 1992 and 2002.

Our members are active in all venues of competition. Each year CVASC hosts several conformation shows and obedience trials, a puppy sweepstakes, and 2 days of working trials, and two agility trials.

We hold at least one eye clinic per year. Members also enjoy our annual banquet in Feburary, and everyone enjoys the fabulous home-made ice cream at our August Ice Cream Social. .
